2018-19 is when VJBL began @ Bushies!
To enhance our Big V Program and provide a more rounded basketball development pathway across the regional northeast of Victoria, the North East Bushrangers expanded into the VJBL (Victorian Junior Basketball League) which provides competition basketball for age groups U14-U21 Boys & Girls.
In our first season, we entered six teams from U14-U18s and surprised ourselves at how competitive we were! We expanded our team entry the following year and included the U21 Men's age group with most of the younger age groups fielding Div 2 teams as well as the Div 1 side. We experienced success at U14 Girls with a win at State Level - an amazing achievement in their second season. And, our U16 Girls were elevated to Championship Division after an incredibly successfully season in VJBL DIv 1 the previous year. |
