Thank you to the Coaches for all their hard work and dedication encouraging the teams to improve week on week. We appreciate everything you do for our Club and for our athletes. Thanks also to the Team Managers who organise everyone for trainings, game locations and score bench etc.
A couple of items of Note:
Please remember, if you have any questions or concerns regarding VJBL Rules, please direct them to your TM or Coach, and they will make enquiries with the NEBB VJBL Delegate (Tony Long) on behalf of the Club.
You cannot go directly to Basketball Victoria yourself. As you can appreciate, this competition has 1000s of teams and we must adhere to the process.

Behavioural Tech Foul Penalties – Coach, Assistant Coach, Bench Staff & Player
Coaches, assistant coaches, bench staff and players who receive two or more behavioural technical fouls during the VJBL playing calendar year, commencing in Grading Phase One will have the following penalty applied.

Two Tech Fouls: Automatic 1 Game Suspension

Three Tech Fouls: Automatic 2 Game Suspension

Four Tech Fouls: Automatic 4 Game Suspension
-
Five Tech Fouls: Automatic 6 Game Suspension
(Technical fouls for flopping or delay of game, etc. will not be added to your quota)
*Please note that if a player or coach is ejected in a game, and both technical fouls are due to referee abuse, the VJBL Administration may invoke an additional one game suspension.
Training
A reminder that Trainings are compulsory. We need everyone to be at training to continue our growth, learn new things and work as a team. If you have urgent business that you cannot attend training or games, please contact your Coach as a priority. Our Coaches are Volunteers and should be treated with respect and courtesy. Their time is valuable, so please do the right thing.
Spectator Behaviour

At no point before, during or after a game are spectators permitted to approach a referee.

All spectators must abide by the Basketball Victoria (BV) Spectator Code of Conduct.

If asked to leave the venue by a venue official, spectator/s must do so immediately, or reports and loss of games may be applied.
